The University College of Agriculture and Environmental Studies (UCAES) has been established to offer tertiary-level education in disciplines that bear close pedagogical relationship to each other and to the general and ultimate welfare of the environment, i.e. safeguarding the Earth’s Ecosystem. Thirdly, the educational philosophy is purposely and deliberately conceived to endow the student with entrepreneurial skills so as to identify and pursue opportunitiesin environment and agriculture.
