About the university
1983 by legislative decree, with the aim of preparing distinguished frameworks for scientific research and development in applied science and technology to contribute effectively to the scientific, industrial and economic development in the country. Engineering training and postgraduate studies at the Higher Institute are the focus of the preparation of specialized frameworks. After five years of study, the Institute graduated from the Institute of Communications and Informatics, Electronic Systems, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering. The study in the engineering phase is divided into a common trunk and years of specialization. The common trunk material is spread over the first and second years and part of the third to give the student a solid base in mathematics, physics, chemistry and foreign languages, in the style of preparatory classes in the French high school system leading to the preparation of outstanding students. As of the third year, the students will be assigned the different specialties of engineering so that the materials begin to differentiate and deepen in the specialization gradually until the graduation year.
