About the university
Taj Institute of Higher Education has received its license on May 16, 2010 and has delivered higher education services thereafter in Mazar e Sharif. For the first time, his institute launched its activities by opening three schools (Medical, Law & Political Sciences, and Economy) for a small number of students. By 2012, Taj was one of the most developed and well established universities in North Afghanistan, having the best facilities for providing the services in learning and research. Consequently, the development graph of the university showed significant improvement since Taj’s establishment. During the past 6 years, many experts, master and PhD lecturers were hired in different faculties, which was the result of the growing number of students from 100 students in 2010 to 2000 students in 2016.
