About the university
The first nucleus of the Bordj-Bou-Arreridj University Annex was built as of 15 July 2000 and was run by Professor CHELALI Nacer. It was annexed to Ferhat Abbas University of Sétif directed during this period by Professor BENACHOUR Djaffer. As of 18 September 2001, the University Center of Bordj Bou Arréridj is established by Executive Decree No. 01-275. It is composed of the Institute of Electronics and the Institute of Informatics. Restructuring of the University Center following Executive Decree No. 06-278 of 16 August 2006; The two institutes comprising the center will henceforth be the Institute of Science and Technology and the Institute of Economics, Business and Management Sciences.
