After submitting the application through the portal.edu.az, it is reviewed by the relevant department, and if the candidate is eligible for admission, he/she will be invited for an interview. The interview is conducted in order to determine the level of language proficiency of the candidate for a specific program and to learn more about his/her academic interests. Applicants who do not meet the language requirements can be admitted to the Foundation Courses offered by the university.

After receiving the Letter of Acceptance from the education institution, foreign students must apply for a scientific or educational visa at either the Azerbaijani embassy or consulate in their home country or through the online “ASAN Visa” system.
