University of Sarajevo

Sarajevo is registered in the folder academic centers in this part of Europe the Gazi vakufnama from 1537. Gaza Husreff library, as associate members, is the oldest institution within the University of Sarajevo. The Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia, a year after World War II, in Sarajevo began with the work and the Teacher Training College and the Institute of Biology. After, after, Medical, Legal and Agriculture and Forestry, open and Faculty of Engineering, the Assembly of the People's Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1949 adopted the Law on the University of establishing the University of Sarajevo. Faculty of Philosophy (with natural and Mathematics) Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and become its new members 1950. In the coming decades there followed a period of dynamic growth.
