About the university
Our school has a long and colorful history. July 2, 1960 on the basis of the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the BSSR No. 383, the Minsk Radio Technical School was established. Having started its activity in the period of formation and development of the radio electronic industry in the Republic of Belarus, the radio technical school gradually transformed into a college of higher education. September 1, 1960. 200 students started their studies in the newly opened Minsk Radio Technical College, the creation of which was predetermined by the development of industrial production, which revealed the republic's need for qualified technical personnel. The first set of students was conducted in the following specialties: "Electronic computers, devices and devices", "Radio equipment", "Production of radio-isolation materials and radio components," "Programming for high-speed mathematical machines."
