About the university
We are one of (if not) the pioneering specialized non-profit making school of International Development in Sub Saharan Africa. Our desire to be a Development University means we have a special mission: to serve a diverse urban and rural population through economic development, social progress, and community outreach. Because of this special role, our students will have many opportunities to apply classroom learning to real life situations in their community. The ISDK works closely with Dale Kietzman University (DKU) and its associated schools (Dale Kietzman Academy –DKA and Dale Kietzman School of Theology –DKST) in the United States of America (USA) to offer undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Theology, Business Studies and International Development. We have also joined forces (as Associates) with one of the flagship specialized organizations in the USA Kauffman Foundation to offer a range of short development based entrepreneurship courses for new and existing entrepreneur, those interested in new technology ventures.
