Taizhou University

Taizhou University is located in Taizhou city, the new coastal city in east china. Taizhou University is a comprehensive university on the undergraduate level approved by the Ministry of Education. The campus has Linhai and Jiaojiang sections. Taizhou University, with a long history of running the school, started in 1907. Covering an area of 1,017,300 square meters, the University at present has a floor space of more than 392,544 square meters. During decades of years of practicing, this university is in possession of solid foundation and ample experience for running the university. At present, there are about 15,000 students, including undergraduates and junior college students. There are more than 800 professional teaching staffs. There are more than 1,600,000 books of various kinds and over 30 modern laboratories. There are 13 schools and departments at university. This university has 9 branches of subject, including literature, natural science, technological sciences, management, law, education, history, medical sciences, economics, covering 38 Bachelor's Degree programs and 16 Associate-degree programs. Taizhou University pays much attention to teachers' scientific research, Among which the research level affects both inside and outside in the aspects of the comparative literature & the world literature, analytical chemistry and Buddhism of Tiantai clan. This University has been active in carrying on international exchange and cooperation and has maintained friendly relationships with foreign universities, such as Jacksonville State University of USA, Hanoi National University of Viet Nam, Lincoln University of New Zealand, Chodang University of the Republic of Korea etc.
