About the university
Jining Medical College was founded in 1952 in Shandong Province Jining Medical School, located in Jining City , Shandong Province , in 1958 to Jining Medical College, to recruit the first undergraduate; 1959 to Jining Medical College; 1987 1 Month, approved by the former State Board of Education , changed its name to Jining Medical College; in April 2008 the school "excellent" results passed the national Ministry of education undergraduate teaching level assessment . As of June 2013, Jining Medical College has Jining , North Lake , Rizhao 3 campuses, covering a total area of 124 million square meters, construction area of 67 million square meters. School fixed assets totaling 945 million yuan, of which teaching and research equipment worth 190 million yuan, the total amount of books for more than 150 million books. North Lake campus is located in the hometown of Confucius and Mencius, etiquette of the state, known as Jiangbei small Suzhou, said Jining City North Lake New Area. Rizhao campus is located in the Yellow Sea coast, known as " Oriental Hawaii, " said Rizhao City .
