Fujian Health College

Fujian Health College has descended from Nursing in 1912, which was attached to Fuzhou Magaw Memorial Hospital in 1912. It is a public full-time college approved by the People's Government of Fujian Province and registered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is affiliated to Fujian Provincial Department of Health. It was determined as provincial model vocational college in 2011. The college stands in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province. It covers an area of over 360,000 square meters, with a construction area of 120,000 square meters. It has more than 7,000 students and over 400 faculty and staff, including 300 full-time teachers. The college comprises 6 departments and offers 22 specialties, covering 5 professional categories as medicine, pharmaceutics, nursing, medical technology and health management. The specialties of nursing, pharmaceutics and medical laboratory technology have been ranked among the most excellent specialties in Fujian Province. It has 3 higher vocational education practice bases supported by central finance, 6 affiliated hospitals, 10 teaching hospitals and 154 other off-school practical training bases.
