About the university
Guizhou Southeast Minority Vocational and Technical College is approved by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government , the Ministry of Education for the record of the establishment of the "provincial co-management, state-based" public full-time higher vocational institutions, in 2011, was listed as Guizhou Province model higher vocational Technical institutions. College in August 2001 by the Guizhou Southeast Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture Health School, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture Ethnic Forestry School, Qiandongnan National Agricultural School, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture financial and trade schools merged to form. As of March 2016, the college campus covers an area of 1503 acres, the school building area of 300,000 square meters; in the teaching and administrative staff of 690 people, including 490 full-time teachers, vocational 25, 155 vice-senior, full-time Nearly 14,000 students in school, of which nearly 12,000 vocational students; with six of the three secondary colleges, 27 college professional.
