About the university
Lanzhou Institute of Technology is a province of Gansu Province, a full-time undergraduate colleges, is the application of technical university pilot transformation institutions, "all the way" colleges and universities strategic alliance members. The school was founded by the New Zealand Louis. Alley in 1942 to establish the Peili School of Technology, in 1958 converted into a secondary professional education in Gansu Province Machinery Manufacturing School; 1962 and coal, electricity, light industry, heavy industry and post and telecommunications 5 Jilin Province, merged into Lanzhou Industrial College; in 1989, upgraded to Lanzhou Institute of Technology.
