About the university
Wuhan Vocational College of Communications, is approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government independently set up the provincial public higher vocational institutions. The school for the Ministry of education personnel training level of assessment of outstanding schools, higher vocational colleges in Hubei Province, Hubei Province, the best civilized units. The school was founded in 1953, formerly known as the Wuhan Traffic Management Cadre College, in 2003 two schools (Wuhan Traffic Management Cadre College, Wuhan Water Transport Industrial School) merged renamed Wuhan Vocational College of Transportation, school name still in use today. As of March 2017, the college covers an area of 1,000 acres, construction area of more than 30 million square meters, the total fixed assets of 1.05 billion yuan, teaching equipment worth 82,156,800 yuan, there are various books (including e-books) more than 160 million There are 98 colleges and universities training base 98, outdoor training base 150; with 11 colleges, set up 58 vocational colleges, 637 faculty members, full-time students in the school 16621 people.
