Liaoning Provincial Building Design & Research Institute

Liaoning Provincial Building Design & Research Institute (LDI) is a national top-level unit of building design and engineering reconnaissance, also a new and high technology enterprise of Liaoning province. LDI was established in Jan. 1956, and has developed into an excellent reconnaissance, design and consultation unit which can provide comprehensive service for engineering construction with complete professional equipments, advanced design method, abundant technical force and excellent social repute. In 2012, LDI won the "Contemporary Chinese Hundred Famous Building Design Institute" by The Architectural Society of China, in the same year won “National May 1st Labor Certificate” by All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) . LDI sets up four Comprehensive Building Design & Research Institutes, Architecture Creation Center (Building Design & Research Institute), Technology Research & Development Center (including BIM Studio, Green Building Studio and Complex Engineering Structure Analysis Studio ), Town and Country Design Institute for Planning + Municipal affairs and landscape ( including Planning Design & Research Institute, Municipal Design & Research Institute, Environmental Art Research Institute ), Building Economy Institute, Master Lin Liyan’s Studio, Applied Technology of Ground-source Heat Pump Research Institute and Overseas Business Department. The companies which are subject to LDI include Geotechnical Engineering Company, Project Management Consultation Company and Engineering Drawing Examination & Consultation Co., Ltd..
