Jiangsu University of Technology

Established in 1984, Jiangsu University of Technology（used to be Jiangsu Teachers University of Technology, hereinafter abbreviated as JSUT）is one of the undergraduate colleges and universities characteristic of vocational education in China, covering 8 faculties or academic disciplines, that is, engineering, literature, science, education, economics, management, law and art, focusing on different fields of engineering. In 2008, JSUT was evaluated as “Excellent” in the Undergraduate Education Accreditation by the Ministry of Education. In 2011, it was officially granted a pilot institution for cultivating post-graduates with professional Master degrees; In 2012, Jinagsu Provincial Training Centre for Higher Vocational Education was set up and based in JSUT. It has now 21 educational schools and scientific research centres, with over 60 undergraduate majors and major fields, covering 8 academic disciplines, that is, engineering, education, management, economics, science, literature, art and law. The total number of the students at school is over 17600. Its library has a total number of 1.383 million printed books, 1536 sorts of Chinese and overseas magazines and periodicals, over 1.3 million Chinese and overseas electronic books,15 thousand different kinds of Chinese and overseas electronic periodicals, 22 different data banks, as well as different teaching instruments and apparatuses worth a total value of 195 million.
