Sichuan Electrical and Mechanical Vocational and Technical College (Sichuan Electromechanical Institute of Vocation and Technology) is located in Panzhihua City , Sichuan Province, Sichuan Province for the demonstration of higher vocational project construction unit "national demonstration of higher vocational colleges construction plan" backbone of vocational colleges . College originated in 1973 organized by the Panzhihua Iron and Steel Industry School. April 16, 2001 approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, in Panzhihua Vocational Education Center on the basis of the creation of Sichuan Electrical and Mechanical Vocational and Technical College . As of December 2015, the school covers an area of more than 1000 acres, there are Ma Jiatian, Jinjiang two campuses, construction area of 244899 square meters, there are 68 training base, school practice base 254, teaching, scientific research equipment assets total Value of 67.736 million yuan; with five teaching departments, there are 42 professional (excluding professional direction); 341 full-time teachers, full-time ordinary vocational students in 8606 people.
