About the university
Shenyang Radio and Television University (hereinafter referred to as Shenyang TV University) is directly under the Shenyang Municipal Government, the use of modern information Technology and other media to teach the local colleges and universities, is the national TV system, one of the provincial electricity. Shenyang TV was founded in March 1960, during the "Cultural Revolution" closed. In 1979, the Shenyang Municipal Party Committee, the municipal government agreed to report to the Liaoning Provincial People's Government approved the resumption of school. In 1984, the Shenyang municipal government will Shenyang TV into the local colleges and universities sequence management, the same year in September, the State Ministry of Education approved Shenyang TV University to enjoy the provincial power management authority and treatment. In July 1999, approved by the Central Radio and TV University, the National Higher Education Department approved the Ministry of Education, Shenyang TV University began to implement the "Central Radio and Television University personnel training model reform and open education pilot" project.
