About the university
Hebei Nationalities Normal University is located in the historical and cultural city - Chengde City , its predecessor was founded in 1907 by Emperor Guangxu approved the establishment of the hot river fast law school, attached to the Department. During the period after several renamed, in 1992 by the former State Board of Education approved to do for the Chengde National Teachers College . March 2010, approved by the Ministry of Education upgraded to Hebei Nationalities Normal University, Hebei Province is the only one undergraduate colleges and universities, Hebei Provincial People's Government and the State Ethnic Affairs Commission to build local colleges and universities. As of August 2016, the school covers an area of 976.5 acres, construction area of 270,000 square meters, teaching equipment worth 80 million yuan, all kinds of experiments, training room 180, 102 million paper books, 3.2 million digital books. Under the 17 secondary colleges, there are 34 undergraduate majors and 40 specialties. They cover eight disciplines of literature, science, law, engineering, management, education, history and art. There are 815 faculty members, including 609 full-time teachers, 63 professors, 190 associate professors.
