About the university
Founded in North Cyprus in 2017, ARUCAD is a thematic art university that is wholly dedicated to the fields of art, design and communication. ARUCAD’s goal is to become one of the most reputable universities in art education, whereby its students continuously improve their creative productivity through interdisciplinary and cross-cultural programs based on traditional, modern and contemporary art teaching and learning, whilst adhering to the inseparable link of theory and practice. In Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD), not all learning experiences take place within just one classroom. You will experience learning while producing in workshops, studios and laboratories established with advanced technologies in our university. You will experience the most indispensable moments of your learning life through social, cultural and artistic activities that will support your education throughout the year. In ARUCAD you have all the possibilities to explore your creativity! Located in the middle of the Eastern Mediterranean, Kyrenia (Girne), the ancient port city of North Cyprus, has all the facilities of a modern city. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION 1. High School Diploma 2. Portfolio (scan copies of your works related to a program applying for) 3. Interview (if required ) 4. Scanned copy of your Passport (photo page) 5. Minimum IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 60. (In the absence of such, students are required to take the language proficiency exam upon arrival. Please note that all our programs are taught in English).
Visa d’étudiant
Most of the counties are exempted from Turkish Transit Visa. You will be guided accordingly during the orientation program held after the registration.
Hébergement
ARUCAD provides our students with various options for accommodation. Our dormitory located within 10 minutes walking distance from the university’s campus, offers a standard and lux space in a flat type accommodation for safe, comfortable and well-cared environment. Staying at university’s accommodation is believed to shorten your adaptation period at the new place. Since your personal needs will be served in the best possible way, you will be free to focus on your studies.
Subventions
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES At our university, students have an excellent opportunity to receive a scholarship to study. Currently, all international students are awarded 50% scholarship on admission. Also, based on the assessment of your interview and portfolio, you have the opportunity to receive additional scholarship on tuition fee (75%, 90% and even 100%).
