The follow-up Master’s degree programme in Applied Informatics develops the competencies of the Bachelor’s degree programme; a prerequisite for the applicants is a Bachelor’s degree. With the increasing demand for qualified experts, the aim of the follow-up Master’s degree programme in Applied Informatics is the education of university educated specialists – IT experts. The knowledge and operational excellence of the graduate is based on high-quality theoretical education combined with the application level of modern informatics practice in the context of both the corporate and the public sector. Students improve their information systems analysis, design and management skills, software and knowledge engineering skills; they gain insight into other related techniques and technologies and into the latest trends in information and communication technologies and systems (IS/ICT), such as XML, cryptocurrency technologies and business simulation platforms.
