About the university
On October 13, 1995, the agreement was signed by which the Ministry of Public Health grants the administration of the National Nursing School of the country to continue the training of nursing human resources, assuming this responsibility from January 1996 as School of Health Professionals. In March 1997, the application and the required documentation are submitted to the Ministry of Education for approval by the Specialized Institute of Higher Education of Health Professionals of El Salvador. The Ministry of Education issued executive agreement No. 15-2167, dated December 26, 1997, on a provisional basis for the institutional operation of IEPROES at its headquarters in San Salvador and its regional centers in Santa Ana and San Miguel.
