About the university
It was 50 years ago, on October 1, 1961, teachers were hired by the state to build a training ground for engineers, technologists, innovative, capable of designing, developing and implementing optimal products, systems or services. The ENI model was born in Brest and Saint-Etienne, then to be reproduced in Tarba, Metz, Belfort, and more recently in Blois. This model is prepared by more than 25,000 engineers and doctors who practice in the world. Institutes of the "ENI group" are engineering schools in 5 years, where the concept of "integrated preparatory class" does not exist, because students are immediately aware of technology and innovation, and much more are classical disciplines. Their training concept and model is progressive, with a constant concrete concern, as evidenced by many of the industrial periods that characterize this training. In Saint-Etienne, ENISE, more than 4,000 engineers and doctors were trained. As part of their work, they contribute to the development of our country's economy. They are mainly in France, but they are also in many countries of the world, on all continents. Very often they lead teams and companies in the field of transport, energy, health, but also in the construction of buildings and structures. Both the ENISE disciplines, engineering and civil engineering, are now widely recognized in the business community, as evidenced by the 350 partnerships we have in France and in more than 18 other countries.
