About the university
The National School of Technology and Wood Industries (ENSTIB) is one of the 210 French engineering schools authorized to award an engineering degree. It is located in Épinal, in the Vosges on the Fibers campus. It is a component of the University of Lorraine which is part of the collegium Lorraine-INP. The school's teaching is based on the needs of the timber industry, based on research. The researchers at the school are attached to the research laboratory at one of the three laboratories (LERMAB, CRAN, IJL) and at the CRITT Bois technology transfer center. Four sectors of activity are privileged within the school: Construction - design; Energy and the environment; Production and logistics; Fibrous materials. The school possesses an important machinery park for all wood processing, a housing and energy market and a construction hall with a test slab.
