IFP School (formerly ENSPM - École Nationale Supérieure des Petroleum et des Engines) is one of the 210 French engineering schools authorized to award an engineering degree. It depends on IFP Energies nouvelles (formerly the French Institute of Petroleum) and trains engineers who will work in the energy sector. It is a school for the application of the École Polytechnique. The school now communicates under the name IFP School, "to translate the evolution of the school which expands its training perimeter to prepare engineers for the challenges of energy transition". The official name of the School remains, however, the National High School of Petroleum and Engines. The main characteristic of the school is that it includes about 50% of international students.
