About the university
The National School of Applied Science and Technology of Lannion (ENSSAT) is one of the 210 French engineering schools licensed by the Commission des titres d'ingénieur) to award an engineering degree. Created in 1986 as a component of the University of Rennes I, located in Lannion (Côtes-d'Armor), it is an associate school of the Mines-Télécom Institute since January 2014. The school is also a member of the Conference of the Grandes Ecoles, the Conference of the grandes écoles of Brittany, the Conference of Directors of the French Schools of Engineering and the Pôle Image et Réseaux. The school was established in 1986 as a component of the University of Rennes 1. Its initial name is "Lannion National School of Applied Science and Technology, Rennes-I", the official journal of the French Republic using mainly the Name "Lannion National School of Applied Science and Technology".
