About the university
The EIGSI La Rochelle is a school of general engineers post-bac. EIGSI La Rochelle, formerly the School of Engineering in Industrial Systems Engineering, is the heir of one of the four major Parisian private engineering schools of the early 20th century: the School of Electricity and Industrial Mechanics ( EEMI - Violet School) founded in Paris in 1901 . The EIGSI is authorized to issue the title of engineer graduated by the CTI for the maximum duration of 6 years. In 2012, EIGSI partners with the CFA-EIA and opens up an apprentice-engineer training course authorized by the CTI in May 2012.
