The aims of the Bachelor Educational Programme in Economy are as follows: 1. To provide a student with wide theoretical knowledge in the sphere of economy and to give him/her an idea of the factors influencing economic decisions; To make the student aware of the basic economic regularities; 2. To give the student an idea about conducting economic analysis using modern statistical and econometric methods; To give him/her the competence to formulate a clear, reasoned conclusion; To develop critical and creative economic thinking skills; 3. To develop the student's ability to conduct research independently, which will help him/her succeed both in the labor market and in the academic space; To ensure an understanding of the importance of adhering to academic and professional ethical standards as well as an understanding of the responsibilities it owes to colleagues or to the public.
