B I B International College

The educational center for information-processing professions is a registered non-profit association, which was founded in Paderborn in 1972. The "School Association for the Advancement of Vocational Education and Training in Data Processing Professions" was founded in 1971. Heinz Nixdorf played a key role in the founding of the company. The reception building of the former railway station in Gronau is the location of the subsidiary Bergisch Gladbach The association is the bearer of the bib International College, the Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW) in Bergisch Gladbach and the Fachhochschule für den Wirtschaft (FHDW) in Hanover. The association is Paderborn. The bib International College offers training and further education in the fields of mediendesign, computer science, business management and game development. Among the state degrees are information technology assistant, design assistant, commercial assistant, computer scientist of various disciplines and bachelor (in cooperation with Southampton Solent University, Griffith College in Dublin and Hanzehogeschool Groningen). In all offers, students complete up to three-month practical phases in companies in which they are working on projects. In Paderborn, the bib has an IT vocational school where companies from all countries can apply for their traineeship. The locations of the vocational school are Paderborn, Bergisch Gladbach, Bielefeld and Hanover.
