About the university
The Faculty of Technology started with the College on its inception as a premier training Institution, in 1999. The Faculty had one department at the onset – Department of Information & Communication Technology. In 2013 when the College gained Private Tertiary Institution offering Degree status, the Faculty constituted two more departments, Department of Information Systems and Department of IT Management. Creation of new departments under Faculty of Technology resulted in the increase in tremendous increase in student population. The Faculty of Technology has, therefore, become the biggest Faculty in the BlueCrest (University) College, with a full-time student population of over 700 in the 2016/2017 academic year.
