Technical Institute of Electrical and Electronics

The I.T.E.E. Was the first private educational institution to offer technical careers and since its beginnings has been the training center of the ideal man that Honduras urgently needs for its development. The Technical Institute of Electricity and Electronics (I.T.E.E.) was founded in 1986 by Eng. Raúl Peña Moreno. Located in the seven street, began its operations in a house of four rooms that worked like classrooms and another house more for the administrative part. The institute began to work with approximately 200 students and the careers that were given then were the Baccalaureate in Electronics, in Electricity and Computing, in the Days of Day and Night. Being its director then the Licenciado José Lorenzo Cano. After its growth, I.T.E.E. Moved to Colonia Trejo where I rent the building where the Institute of Special Education currently operates (I.S.E.E.). In 1991 he moved to the building where the International School used to be, always in the Colonia Trejo, and in these facilities the following courses were opened: Common Cycle of General Culture, Bachillerato in Sciences and Letters, Bachillerato in Electromecánica, Bachillerato in Marketing and Bachillerato in QA. Engineer Raúl Peña Moreno, current Rector of the Institute and his first Academic Director, Mr. José Lorenzo Cano, made all the necessary procedures for the start of a highly prestigious Technical Institute. As a strategy for experimentation and strengthening of learning, in 1988 the first Science and Technology Fair was set up, and since then the students, year after year, have demonstrated, through their Technical-Scientific exhibitions, a diversity of projects that have been Visited by parents, students and authorities who have always expressed their admiration and respect for the work of the students and teaching and administrative staff, in charge of organizing the event. The I.T.E.E. Since its inception has been characterized by its educational quality and thanks to the management of its current Director, Mr. Antonio Alberto Pineda Ramos and all his collaborators, we are proud to be THE BEST TECHNICAL INSTITUTE OF HONDURAS.
