About the university
Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (SRIEIT), popularly known as RIT Shiroda or RIT, is an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved, private engineering school/institution affiliated to Goa University located in Shiroda, Goa. The institution consists of three academic departments. The Training and Placement Cell of the institute headed by the Training and Placement Officer is responsible for arranging training of the students to meet their degree requirement; the officer provides job opportunities to undergraduate students for jobs in industry and private and public sector organizations. The Training and Placement Cell arranges senior executives of major industries and organizations to provide pre-placement orientation to the students before formal campus interviews.
