Entering the age of 54, Petra Christian University (UK Petra) increasingly established the role as one of the oldest and most famous private universities in Surabaya. By bringing the vision of a global university and caring and committed to Christian values, UK Petra - established in 1961, has solidified its quality as a reputable institution of higher education. Good reputation through appreciation and recognition in regional, national, and international environments is inscribed for the advancement of education and the formation of young people in Indonesia. In the last three years, UK Petra regained some awards and recognition at regional, national and international level. In the scope of Region VII Kopertis, UK Petra is again recognized as one of the five winning universities of the Excellent Campus Award. Within the national scope, National Accreditation Board of Higher Education gives the highest predicate, namely A value to UK Petra in assessment of Institution Accreditation in 2014. In this case, UK Petra is one of the five private universities in Indonesia that have achieved the title A. In addition to national accreditation, UK Petra is also confirmed as a 5 Star university by the Global Accreditation Association in 2014.
