Catholic University of Darma Cendika

November 7, 1984 a group of Catholic Scholars and Intellectuals in Surabaya establish Cendika Darma Foundation, based in Surabaya. The Foundation is engaged in three (3) areas of activity, namely: Field of education; Health; Social Affairs. All of which are aimed at "Helping Government" heightens the degree of intelligence and social welfare and Indonesia in the broadest sense. The first step foundation for realizing the above objective is to establish universities known as the Catholic University of Darma Cendika (hereinafter referred to Unika Darma Cendika), who started his college officially on September 1, 1986, so this date is determined as the time of its establishment Cendika Unika Darma. Operational permission is obtained from the Coordinator Kopertis Region VII, No. 365 / Q / 1986 dated June 20, 1986, and increased to STATUS APPROVED by the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 0217 / O / 1987, dated April 11, 1987, apply to the Faculty of Engineering (Industrial Engineering and Architecture) , Faculty of Economics (majoring in Management and Accounting) and the Faculty of Law. In 2002 all of the courses covering Law, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Management and Accounting has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board Decree - College.
