About the university
Muhammadiyah University of Semarang is a private university in Semarang . At the beginning of its establishment, Muhammadiyah University of Semarang (UNIMUS) is the Muhammadiyah Health University of Semarang (PTKMS) which has been established since 1982, consists of 3 academies namely: Nursing Academy, Nutrition Academy and Academy of Health Analyst. With the aim to develop the Muhammadiyah Business Charity, start pioneered the establishment of Muhammadiyah University of Semarang. The establishment of Muhamamdiyah University of Semarang was initiated by the Regional Leadership of Muhammadiyah Central Java since 1996. The process was followed up with the establishment of the Founding Committee of Muhamamdiyah University of Semarang based on the Decree of Regional Leadership of Muhammadiyah Central Java Number: SK.PW/III.B/9.6/001/1997.
