About the university
Madiun State Polytechnic is one of the polytechnics that organizes vocational education in a number of special knowledge areas. The learning process in the field of hard skills is achieved through the application of the concept of learning by doing contains 50% theory material and 50% practice delivered through Competency Based Curriculum 5 + 1 for Diploma Program III and 7 + 1 for Diploma IV Program. In order to ensure the achievement of learning objectives, applied small class sizes with a maximum of 30 students of the class. The emphasis on soft skill is aimed at achieving the character of honesty, leadership, discipline, teamwork, and work intelligence (works smart). The character is always developed, as it has successfully tested past challenges, is reliable in facing the challenges of the present, and is believed to be able to surpass future challenges. The character of discipline is formed through basic disciplinary education at the Institute of Military Education at the time of admission of new students.
