About the university
DPU is one of three universities in the region, in which technical institutes have been merged with technical colleges to create a holistic and innovative education and training provider that reveals the region’s potential to respond more quickly and effectively to the education and training demands in Duhok, Kurdistan Region and Iraq. DPU has many campuses at 7 different districts within Duhok Governorate each with its own dynamic character and range of specialized courses and services, offering higher education to many who would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it.
