About the university
The Institute is academically articulated in two faculties: Oriental ecclesiastical sciences (S.E.O.), divided into three departments (historical, theological-patristic and liturgical); Eastern Canonian Law (D.C.O.). The two faculties are mainly attended by religious, but many are also lay people. An important internationally renowned library is available to students and researchers from all over the world. Finally, the Institute edited some important scientific journals: Orientalia Christiana Periodica, Orientalia Christiana Analecta, Anaphorae Orientales, Kanonika. Connected to the Eastern Canonical Law Faculty, the Iura Orientalia Electronic Scientific Necklace.
