Il corso offre una solida formazione di base nelle discipline chimiche fondamentali (Chimica Analitica, Chimica Fisica, Chimica Generale, Chimica Organica), alle quali riserva un peso preponderante in termini di crediti. Circa il 30% di questi crediti è dedicato ad attività di laboratorio, al fine di fornire agli studenti le necessarie conoscenze e abilità pratiche.
