The School was founded in April, 2008 in response to the overwhelming need for higher nursing education in Saku City, Nagano prefecture, where the rural health care enjoys an international reputation for quality. The University’s mission is to provide leadership to further improve the health care of individuals, families, communities through nursing education, research and practice.
