Yamanashi Prefectural University (山梨県立大学? Yamanashi kenritsu daigaku) is a public university in Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. The university was established in 2005 as a result of the merger of Yamanashi College of Nursing and Yamanashi Women's Junior College. This 12 years old H.E. institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 20-30% making this Japanese higher education organization a very selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
