About the university
Japan Now aims at the establishment of a state on the basis of creative technology, trying to educate the talents who lead the technology in international manufacturing fields. Under such circumstances, national colleges of technology are requested to train applicable, practical and creative engineers. We aim to rear creative engineers who have firm understanding in specific fields and consider relations between technology and nature, society. We lay stress on basic technical education, experiments and practical training as well. Extracurricular and collaboration activities contribute to foster sensitivity, good sense and enterprising spirit. Accreditation by JABEE certifies that our college is both nominally and virtually higher educational institution for technology. Students who have fulfilled specific requirements set by the National institution for Academic Degrees after completion of advanced courses are eligible to receive a bachelor's degree in engineering. To realize these goals, we offer continuous five or seven year curriculum, including advanced 2-year course besides basic 5-year course.
