About the university
Keiway Mining & Technology College is one of the region's leading private colleges. Being an anchor institution in Kilifi, we are a regional center of excellence in Mining and Information Technology professional training. We have a strong tradition of integrating liberal and professional education, foster a vibrant culture of public service and encourage students to cross academic as well as geographic boundaries in their pursuit of knowledge. Keiway College first opened its doors to 21 students in 2012. Since then, we have quickly become a household name in Kilifi offering diploma and certificate courses to a wide variety of students. We enroll students with diverse economic backgrounds, offer financial assistance where needed, as well as offer opportunities for internships for our students. Our commitment to focused excellence includes developing and delivering programs with primary emphases in sustaining excellence in mining & GeoSciences, Information Technology, business & Economics and Social Sciences, all of which shape the core curriculum and give meaning to the concept of a flagship college in the region.
