About the university
The Korea Tourism College is the most distinguished school of hospitality studies in Korea, and has been a leader in this academic field for longer than any other school. We have the most competent faculty and student body in Korea and have provided them with state-of-the-art facilities. Our professors rank first in Korea and second in Asia in research. In 2011, the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research ranked us 16th in the world and 2nd in the Asia amongst the major academic institution in hospitality and tourism based on research. Our approximately 900 undergraduate students and about 400 graduate students can look forward to exciting and successful careers upon graduation. The Korea Tourism College has a distinctive teaching philosophy. The most notable distinction between our academic environment and other educational institutions is that we emphasize wisdom rather than mere knowledge.
