About the university
Polytechnic Metro Kuantan (MKU) commenced operation on 1 April 2011 at its campus located in the heart of the commercial city of Kuantan. This institution is one of the public high school that offers studies in the field of services, in accordance with the needs and demands of today's industry. MKU is a metro Polytechnic to two (2) established in line with the national transformation agenda that enhance competitiveness through development of high-income economies, especially in terms of human capital generates a versatile and able to change the market dynamic work environment. All Metro Polytechnics offer only two full-time study program. MKU offers two courses of study Diploma Food Services Practices (Halal) and Diploma in Tourism Management . In addition, MKU also will offer courses and short courses in subscribing under the Lifelong Learning Program (LLL) based on the needs of the local community.
