Polytechnic Melaka

Polytechnic Malacca (PMK), formerly known as the Polytechnic Kota Melaka (MCP). But not many know that before Polytechnic Kota Melaka, it is known as Politeknik Merlimau Melaka. This is the earliest planning the establishment of polytechnics in Singapore are just a only. However, during the process of waiting for the campus in Merlimau completed, within it is also temporary Polytechnic in Building Plaza Pandan Malim, Balai Panjang Melaka has become a more Polytechnic named Polytechnic Kota Melaka for its strategic location close to the city center as well as to coincide with the concept of "Campus Town" who happened to be in the constituency of Kota Melaka. In addition Politeknik Merlimau Melaka, CPM (then) also shared the administration with Bear Hill Community College before it moved to its own building in Bukit Beruang, Melaka. Polytechnic is a 11th-established on January 1, 1999 by the Ministry of Education (then). Melaka Polytechnic building has now been increased from 25 to 27 units of shophouses which includes 13 lots were purchased and 14 leased lot has been completely renovated, equipped with all the basic amenities required by an institute of higher learning. At the beginning, the Polytechnic of Malacca just received its first group of students to a total of 197 people in July 1999. However, the number of admissions increased from year to year. At that time, the CPM handle 4 courses that are ranked CERTIFICATES Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering Certificate, Certificate in Business Studies, Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
