Hulu Terengganu Polytechnic

Politeknik Hulu Terengganu or with abbreviated PHT is a polytechnic under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia started operations on 2 May 2008 at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Polytechnic, Dungun with the offer 2 main programs namely Diploma in Accounting and Diploma in Tourism Management and Hospitality. In June 2010, the PHT has been transferring operations to the Hulu Terengganu District by renting one of the buildings owned by the District Council of Hulu Terengganu in Kuala Berang. Now, PHT has almost 500 students with a staff strength of as many as 65 people consisting of a variety of approval. Between the main department of the available in the PHT are the Department of Trade, Department of Tourism & Hospitality and the Department of General Studies. In line with the vision and mission of the MOHE, the PHT offers a number of facilities to students and staff such as lecture rooms, computer lab, room MICE, library, surau, kiosks and so on. For added more comfort, PHT is also collaborating with several government agencies such as the Hulu Terengganu District Council to provide facilities such as the hall, field, futsal court, badminton courts and also ease of access of the Public Library of Hulu Terengganu.
