About the university
April 1, 2014 is a historic date in which the onset of the establishment of the Polytechnic organization Tun Syed Nasir Syed Ismail. With a workforce of 17 people consisting of polytechnic lecturers, PSTN operational at its temporary campus at Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah as the permanent campus is located in Pagoh, Johor is still under construction. Polytechnic Tun Syed Nasir Syed Ismail has two parent department, the Department of Petrochemical Engineering and Department of Chemistry and Food Technology. In the meantime, PSTN only offers only two programs, namely: 1. Diploma in Process Engineering (Petrochemicals) under the Department of Petrochemical Engineering 2. Diploma in Food Technology in the Department of Chemical and Food Technology. Starting in December 2014, Johor pagoh Polytechnic name was changed to Polytechnic Tun Syed Nasir Syed Ismail (PSTN).
