Normal School of Special Education of Oaxaca

The Normal School of Special Education (ENEE) emerged as a response to the needs of teacher training to attend to children with disabilities that pre-school and primary education did not attend. Director ENEE At the beginning of the 90's, the level of special education itself and that of teacher trainers began to work on the project for the creation of the Special Education, which took place in 1992. On April 29, 1995, its establishment became official, as stipulated in agreement No. 45 published in the official newspaper of the Government of the State of Oaxaca. From its foundation to the present day it has been considered a professional and human formation governed by the following: Mission To train graduates in special education with sound and well defined psychopedagogical criteria that allow them to attend children and youth with special educational needs, with or without disability and / or outstanding skills to respond to the cultural diversity of the state of Oaxaca and of the country (Mexico ). ENEEO is an academic institution dedicated to teaching, research and dissemination and educational extension that aspires to the following: View To be an academic community of learning and professional development with state and national recognition for the critical and purposeful exercise of teacher education that contributes to the diffusion of a pedagogical culture in the field of special education.
