About the university
In 1995 in the State of Guanajuato created the first Technological Institute Decentralized, this being the Institute Technological Superior of Irapuato (ITESI); Later in August of 1997 the Technological Institute of the South of Guanajuato is created. In 2008, after an intense work by C. Raúl Ulises Cardiel Gutiérrez, Mayor of Salvatierra before the State Government chaired by Lic. Juan Manuel Oliva and before the Secretary of Education of the State, Master Alberto de la Luz Diosdado, Manages to create the conditions to install in September of this same year with the support of ITESI, the High Technological Institute of Salvatierra.
